About Tat-Chat

Over half of my body is tattooed. I've spent a hundred plus hours in the chair and thousands of dollars on ink and am lucky to only have had one bad experience. One was/is enough.

Unfortunately, my bad experience was with a talented artist. I'd already had a piece by him I loved. So when I contacted him about another project, it never occurred to me he'd end up taking thousands of dollars, and giving me a partial shitty piece. I know he did this to a number of other clients and he made it clear he wouldn't give our money back before ghosting/blocking us. So, I came up with a way to hopefully stop him, and others like him, from taking people's money.

 

When you research an artist on Instagram, you only see the pieces they've showcased as highlights of their work. There is no way to know how they treated their clients or the consistency of their work. Thus, my hope for Tat-Chat is to spread the love for good tattooers out there; keeping your hard-earned money in the hands of people who care and will give you a badass tattoo, while heeding warnings about the unprofessional ones and scammers.
